How to Export Your Kindle Clippings

To use KStats, you first need to export your Kindle clippings. Here's how:

  1. Connect your Kindle to your computer via USB
  2. Navigate to the "documents" folder on your Kindle
  3. Find the file named "My Clippings.txt"
  4. Copy this file to your computer

How to Upload Your Clippings

Once you have your "My Clippings.txt" file, you can upload it to KStats:

  1. Go to the KStats homepage
  2. Click on the "Upload Clippings" button
  3. Select your "My Clippings.txt" file
  4. Wait for the file to be processed
  5. Explore your reading statistics!

No, KStats processes your data locally in your browser. We never store your clippings or reading data on our servers.
